College search, saved schools and coach outreach

What it is

The recruiting side of Next Athletix. You search a directory of college programs, save the ones you like, see their coaches and contact details, and email coaches with help from an AI writing assistant. A grade-by-grade checklist keeps you on track.

How to use it

1. Search schools (Recruiting, Colleges). Search by name and filter by division, state, conference, enrollment, GPA, SAT, ACT, acceptance rate and tuition. Save a search you reuse (up to 25).
2. Open a school to see its coaches. Save it to My Schools.
3. In My Schools, tag each school Dream, Reach or Realistic, set where you are with it (not contacted, reached out, in communication, official visit, committed), and keep short notes.
4. Write to a coach from the school page or from Communications. Pick a template (intro, camp, event or follow-up), let the AI draft it from your profile, then edit it. The AI can also improve an email you wrote. Your signature is added when it sends.
5. After you send, you can see the email in your sent list, whether it was opened, and any reply. You can also set a reminder to follow up; it is emailed to you.
6. Work through the Recruiting checklist for your grade. Items link to the right place in the app. Tick them off as you go.

Rules and limits

• The school directory, saved schools, coach contacts, AI email help, sending and the checklist are part of the Training + Recruiting plan. A free account can search and sees how many schools match, but not the schools or coaches.
• A parent gets into the directory and checklist if any of their linked children has the Recruiting plan. Sending email to coaches is done from the athlete's own account.
• You can save up to 50 schools and 25 searches. Notes are limited to 500 characters.
• Emails to coaches are limited to 15 an hour and 50 a day per athlete. A coach with no email on file cannot be emailed.
• AI drafts are built from your profile and a tone guardrail. Always read and edit a draft before you send it.

Edge cases

• Reply tracking and open tracking only work when email sending and the reply address are set up on the server. Without reply tracking, replies go straight to your own email.
• Below 8th grade the checklist is empty and says when it starts.
• Older links to /recruiting/email now forward to Communications.
• On mobile, search, My Schools, the checklist, a school page, its coaches and writing an email all exist. If your plan does not include recruiting you see an upgrade message instead.
