- Athlete onboarding wizardA short set of questions a new athlete answers right after signing up, so the training plan fits them instead of an average player. It takes about a minute.
- Check-ins and Days In the CircleYour streak is called Days In the Circle: the number of days in a row you checked in. A check-in is either a day you trained (a session) or a planned Rest Day. You can see your current streak, your longest ever, and how much of your weekly goal you have done.
- College messages and requests to meetCollege messages is where a college coach and your family talk. A verified college coach cannot message a player out of the blue. They send one request to meet, and only when your family says yes does a conversation open. A parent is on every conversation with a player under 18.
- College search, saved schools and coach outreachThe recruiting side of Next Athletix. You search a directory of college programs, save the ones you like, see their coaches and contact details, and email coaches with help from an AI writing assistant. A grade-by-grade checklist keeps you on track.
- Game lessonsLessons teach the thinking side of the game: reading a situation, knowing where the play goes, deciding fast. Each lesson sets up a scenario, often with a field diagram, and then lists the key decision points to think through. Your coach can also send you a lesson with a note and a due date.
- My coaches and teamsMy coaches lists everyone who can assign you training and follow your progress: the coaches on each team you are on, and any private coaches you work with, such as a hitting or pitching coach. It also lets you leave a team or stop working with a private coach, and shows you what coaches have actually done with your profile.
- Progress and training analyticsThe Progress page is your training in numbers: your streak, how many days you trained, the last 8 weeks against your weekly goal, how far along each plan is, a calendar of everything you did and a chart of which skills you spent time on.
- Public athlete profileA page you control at nextathletix.com/a/your-username that you can send to coaches, family and recruiters: your photo or cover, headline, bio, teams, stats, measurables, accomplishments, videos, photos and upcoming schedule. It is off until you turn it on.
- Skill modules and drill cardsModules are the drill library. There are five: Throwing, Fielding, Footwork, Hitting, and Strength and Conditioning. Each one lists its drills (or exercises) as cards, so you can see what a drill is, how to do it and what you need before you start. When you do one on your own, you can mark it practiced and it counts as a day trained.
- Tournaments and your game scheduleTournaments are shared. Everyone who plays in the same event picks the same listing, so your team, other players and college coaches all find each other in one place. You add the games you play to your schedule, and if your page is public, college coaches can find you at the event.
- Training plans and daily sessionsThree ways to know what to train, all built from your profile (sport, age, level, positions, focus areas, session length):
- Your dashboard and Focus modeYour dashboard is the first page you see after you sign in. It is a set of cards: what you owe today, your streak, your week, your training numbers, your recruiting progress and anything your coach sent. On the web you can rearrange the cards, or switch on Focus mode to see only what matters today. The check-in card and the streak are explained in Check-ins and Days In the Circle.
