Coach roster and filters

What it is

Your coach home screen: every athlete you work with, how active each one has been, who is on a roll and who needs a nudge. On the web you can narrow the roster down to a group and send that group the same workout in one step.

How to use it

  1. Open your coach home. If you have not set up a coach profile yet you are taken to coach setup first.
  2. Read each athlete's card: name, sport and level, streak, sessions this week, days since last check-in, unread messages from them, and whether their phone can get notifications.
  3. Use the leaderboards: three athletes on a roll at the top and three who need a nudge at the bottom. (On mobile, switch between On a roll and Needs a nudge; the card appears once you have 4 or more athletes.)
  4. Filter on the web: search by name, then narrow by position, and under More filters by sport, experience level, plan (Subscribed or Free) and activity (Any, On a streak, Needs work). Clear removes all filters.
  5. Tick the athletes you want, or select everyone the filters show, then assign a workout or lesson to that group. See the assignment card.
  6. Open an athlete to see their detail, message them, or give them a workout.

Rules and limits

  • You see athletes you are linked to directly (a private hitting or pitching coach, for example) plus everyone on the roster of a team where you are on staff, including athletes who join later.
  • A coach invited by an athlete's family sees training and messages but not recruiting or billing, and cannot see what the family pays.
  • For athletes under 18 whose parent has turned off auto-accept, a team coach shows up only after that parent approves them.
  • Position filters understand groups: choosing Middles also catches shortstops and second basemen, and so on. Only filters your roster can answer are offered (a softball-only team is not asked to pick a sport).
  • The filters are web only. The mobile roster lists everyone and has the On a roll and Needs a nudge views.

Edge cases

  • Needs work means no check-in for 3 or more days, or no sessions this week.
  • Plan status for athletes you reach only through a family invite always reads Free, because the plan is never read for them.
  • An athlete with no profile yet is shown by name or email with empty numbers.
  • Streak on this screen only counts if the athlete has checked in today, so it can read lower than the number the athlete sees. It also stops counting at 14 days.
