Parent dashboard and child accounts

What it is

A parent account lets you add your athlete, watch how they are training and recruiting, and stay in the loop on who they are connected to. You see what is happening; the athlete does the work.

How to use it

  1. Sign up as a parent. Your first step is to add an athlete.
  2. Add an athlete: enter their name, age (5 to 17), a username and a password. The child signs in with that username, no email needed.
  3. If the athlete is under 13, a verification email goes to you. Open the link within 48 hours to confirm your consent. You can resend it from the dashboard. For ages 13 to 17, ticking the consent box is enough.
  4. Open your dashboard. With one athlete you land straight on their dashboard: streak and training this week, today's session, recruiting progress (saved schools, checklist, contacts), what their coaches wrote, and replies from college coaches. With more than one you see a list and open each.
  5. From an athlete's page you can assign them a workout, approve or take down their public page, manage their plan, and delete their account.
  6. Choose your emails. A weekly progress email comes every Sunday (sessions done, streak, new profile items, coach and college activity) and can be switched off.
  7. In the mobile app you can see your athletes, their streak and week, today's session, tournaments and college coaches, assign a workout and delete an account. Adding an athlete opens the website.

Rules and limits

  • A parent account can have several athletes. A child can have more than one parent or guardian linked.
  • You cannot check in for your athlete; the dashboard shows their numbers, it does not control them.
  • A child's public page can only go live with a parent's approval and a consent on file. The child asks, you approve in the app or from the emailed link, and you can pull the page back at any time.
  • A coach joining a team your athlete is on can be auto-accepted or held for your approval. Your choice is a setting on your parent account; turning it to "ask me" keeps the coaches already there.
  • A child cannot start billing. They can ask you to upgrade; you decide and pay.
  • Child accounts cannot connect an AI app. You can connect your own and see the same training through the parent tools.

Edge cases

  • If you added an under-13 and never confirmed by email, the account still exists but the consent is not on file. Resend the email from the dashboard.
  • Several parents can be linked to one child. A request that needs a guardian can be answered by any of them.
  • Children sign in with the username; adults sign in with email.
